La Loteta

The La Loteta spot is located in the Ebro Valley, in the province of Zaragoza. It is a reservoir that was completed just 7 years ago, but which in this short period of time has become a privileged enclave for kitesurfing.

Because La Loteta does not have a beach, but it is in one of the areas with the most windy days in all of Europe. That makes it worth taking into account among the most sought-after spots in the country: the scarce “glamor” of the surrounding fields, are more than supplemented by a wind unmatched throughout the Peninsula.

In the spot, navigable winds are registered about 150 days a year, much more than in established spots such as Fuerteventura or Tarifa. The most common is the famous CIERZO.
