The wind comes full from the IJsselmeer in a westerly direction, which ensures stable wind and you need it! Workum and Mirns together form our home base.
These are the best kite spots in Friesland. The kitesurfing locations are ideal for novice kitesurfers, when the wind comes from the east, Workum is not favorable. We can then be found at Kornwerderzand or Mirns. If you want to surf undisturbed, you can also take a look at the kitespot Lauwersoog or the Wadden Islands.
